KS Associates provided design services for the construction of the Hopkins Road Bridge replacement over Eagle Creek in Portage County. This design-build project involved design and construction of a 77-foot span pre-stressed concrete box beam bridge to replace an existing 57-foot span Pony Truss Bridge. KS Associates analyzed the new bridge and determined the pre-stressing strand spacing utilizing Merlin Dash and comparing the results with PCI manual design procedure. Our design team also detailed the bridge abutments, and provided the final bridge rating.
Construction Cost: $663,000.
