KS Associates is providing design and engineering services on individual park design teams for Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District’s (MWCD) Park Master Plan Implementation Program. Design development, final design, and construction of each project identified in the park Master Plan will be completed in phases. KS Associates’ work includes:
Charles Mill Lake Park – KS Associates teamed with Environmental Design Group (EDG) and has provided 30% design for proposed waterfront improvements throughout the park, including new floating docks, fishing piers, and boat ramps. The construction of the proposed waterfront improvements will be phased with associated park and campground improvements from 2016 to 2021.
Seneca Lake Park – KS Associates is on a team with GPD to design waterfront improvements at Seneca Lake Park. Proposed improvements include: an updated marina layout, dredging, a marina boardwalk promenade, shore protection, floating docks, boat ramps, kayak camping platforms, a fishing pier, and beach stabilization structures. The construction of the improvements will be phased with associated park and campground improvements from 2016 to 2023. The first phase, including a boat ramp and courtesy docks, has been constructed.
Tappan Lake Park – KS Associates teamed with DLZ and Domokur Architects and has provided 30% design for proposed waterfront improvements throughout the park, including new floating docks and a floating rental concession building. The construction of the proposed waterfront improvements will be phased with associated park and campground improvements from 2016 to 2021.
