This pilot project is the first non-federal dredge containment structure to be constructed along the shore of Lake Erie. The lessons learned throughout this project are being applied to future projects aimed at improving Sandusky Bay, other Lake Erie harbors, and throughout the Great Lakes.

February 02, 2023KS Associates is celebrating a surveying “first.” In November 2022, our team completed the first elevation survey ever to be performed on the Cleveland Division of Water (CWD) Kirtland Crib. The Crib is a critical component of Cleveland’s infrastructure, drawing millions of gallons of drinking water each day from Lake Erie.
