KS Associates performed an Aeronautical Survey of the Akron-Canton Airport (CAK) as part of the development of the Master Plan Study and Airport Layout Plan by CHA. The survey was prepared to meet FAA Advisory Circulars 150/5300-13, 150/5300-16A, 150/5300-17B and 150/5300-18B.
Planimetric mapping was completed for all of the airport property, and obstacle data was gathered for the airport’s airspace and approach surfaces. All data was submitted and approved through FAA’s AGIS database. Survey work on the airfield was coordinated with the CAK’s Operations Manager to minimize impact to airport operations and to perform work safely.
