KS Associates provided a topographic survey of the 10-acre site around the former Benjamin O. Davis Aviation High School building at Burke Lakefront Airport (BKL). The survey was necessary for architectural and engineering design services to move forward. The goal of the project was to repurpose the site to accommodate the relocation of the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Facility (ARFF) and the Consolidated Maintenance Facility (CMF) for the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control.
KS Associates deployed a 3D laser scanner to acquire details about the site conditions in developing the topographic base map.
KS Associates performed surveying services as a subconsultant to AECOM.
