Residents and shoppers in the City of Lorain now have more choices and convenience when craving coffee and fresh baked cookies. A new Starbucks coffee shop and Crumbl cookie store are now open for business in the new Shops at Deerfield retail complex.
KS Associates provided surveying, site planning, and site design services to support the three-tenant building that houses the brewer and baker. A third tenant is in the works. The site is located in the Deerfield Town Center shopping complex along Oak Point Road, just south of the Cooper Foster Road exit of State Route 2.
KS engineers worked closely with the developer to submit preliminary plans, which were approved by the Lorain Planning Commission on July 6, 2022.
KS Associates met with the City of Lorian and all stakeholders to coordinate utilities and meet regulatory requirements for stormwater management and stormwater pollution prevention during construction. KS Associates also provide support during construction.
Final improvement plans included storm, sanitary, and water utilities; site grading; parking facilities; sidewalks; and other site features.
